Dammit... I'll be at work. Do the Wacken streams stay up for a bit after the show is over?
I mean, I know it'll wind up on youtube in a couple of days, but I'd like to come home and watch it after work.
I'm waiting for that zippered hoodie to show up somewhere for purchase. The $100 one. I didn't have the cash at the time, but I've been socking away a little here and there if and when it shows up on the merch site. The one with the Mayan Calendar Eddie on the back. I think it was beige? It was...
I'm still pouting that there was no Denver-specific shirt. NFL champions Denver Broncos... Rocky Mountains... the big blue gargoyle horse at the airport... surely they could have done something with some of that?
Well, I guess those Riot Fest rumors were, as was to be expected, complete bunk.
Still interesting, though, that Bruce mentioned they'd be back soon in both Chicago and Denver.
Anticipation abounds.
So everything just goes into a warehouse after Wacken until 2017?
With at least 6 months of inactivity during one of the most popular phases of their careers?
That doesn't sound right.
There's got to be something up their sleeves.
Pepsi Center's weird. I've hated shows down on the floor or lower balc, but the sound gets much, much better in the upper balc. Strange, that. This show didn't sound as good as Sabbath some weeks back, but sounded way better than some stuff I've seen in there.
Skylar, were you in Sec. 301? That...
The 666 is what I was hoping regular Trooper had been in the beginning, and is really fkkn delicious. That being said, I still maintain that regular Trooper is a great, sessionable English beer made for pounding by the pint all day at the pub.
I'm trying to budget... anybody wanna post what the two tiers of Vegas tix are with the fees?
Ticketmaster's only showing the pre-fee prices for those of us shut-out from the fan presale.
I'm a fan of English session ales, and I like most of what Robinsons puts out.
Trooper is a good one... I just wish I had better access to it, as it's pretty limited.
I'd like to sit down at a bar and kill a few of them on draught.
From the "long songs" on the record, I'd much rather hear The Red And The Black in a live setting over Empire or even Book Of Souls.
I may even have my fingers crossed for that one over anything else on the entire album.
Great stuff.
I'm sure, as are all of you, that the 3 dates in the U.S. will be coastal... but I hold out hope for a show here in Denver on their return later in the year. I'm guessing that with a big 747, they're going to have to play cities with big international airports close to the venues they'll be...
