    Back in 1993

I remember when Blaze was announced i was very happy. I liked Wolfsbane and thought Blaze could do a good job. I waited and waited in anticipation for the new album. When it finally came out i remember being hugely disappointed. Years later i appreciate the album a lot more but i guess a lot...

NO PRAYER FOR THE DYING - Your thoughts…

Thats a really good review, i feel it hits the nail on the head, and yet i dont dislike the album and find it a decent listen. Weird

    Iron Maiden pictures

There should be an action man Bruce with change of clothes. Fencing Bruce, rockstar Bruce, pilot Bruce. Maybe an idea for the maiden shop

Live After Death anniversary this year - do you expect anything interesting?

I think Bruce has Hammersmith 82 and 84 mixed. His memory bout these things isnt great

Live After Death anniversary this year - do you expect anything interesting?

They probably have some if not all of the Hammersmith tapes but based on history, Maiden dont really release stuff that hasnt been available somewhere before, so im not expecting anything exciting.

Its funny reading "ill give 500% every night" because we know that is far from what happened

I dont remember seeing anything in the press about either of those two. I dont think Steve would have wanted too big of a name or an American. Plus i dont think Rob ever really wanted to leave Priest and was always hoping for a return. Neither would have been seriously considered.

Was Fear of the Dark a crowd-pleaser in the 90's?

I do find it odd that they refuse to drop FOTD (apart from the Early Days tour) and yet they dropped Hallowed. Fear of the Dark is great and works brilliantly live, but it is droppable IMO

    The Parchment

If they did play it live it would be my 'time to go to the toilet' song

Simon Dawson is the new drummer

The fact they have a new drummer gives me hope the RFYL tour wont be the last. Or at least it will last a while. If it was the last surely Nicko could have one more decent tour in him.

    Nicko McBrain retires

It was a joke. In that he seems to be in every other metal band. Thrash or not

    Nicko McBrain retires

Much love and respect to Nicko. What a huge gap to fill. Probably my second fav drummer behind Bonzo. I think its right if the guys want to carry on for a few more years and im sure they have Nickos blessing. Happy retirement old flat nose❤️

Iron Maiden News, Links, and Interviews

Maiden are still better live than most bands of their age out there. Even bands younger have dropped off so much with age. The only worry for me is Nic but hes hoping he can go a bit longer

    The Future Past Tour 2024

I have no prob with Nics tempo unless the other guys cant keep up. Which Adrian clearly cant. I dont if thats more Adrians fault or Nickos lol

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

Ive only ever seen H play that blue esp on the 7th tour. The one thats on the clairvoyant. Looked a really cool guitar

Subjects Bruce was wrong about or took his mouth too full

I have my opinions on Bruces flaws as a person and at times he annoys the hell out of me. But at the end of the day i know of them cos i follow Iron Maiden and hes a damn brilliant musician in my fav band. The other stuff i can live with and im not gonna start a post purely made to slag him off...
