I honestly don't think significantly upgrading their shows/production for bigger venues would be a smart move for Maiden financially. It would require significant investment and increased touring costs with no guarantee of success. They can make some tweaks to what they do to keep things fresh...
The casuals don't even know the setlist ahead of the gig, hence them moaning when they get the setlist that was promoted rather than the greatest hits that they expect every time.
No. Compression is used to control volume and dynamics. (there are some shades of grey here, e.g. multi-band compression) but the result and objective isn't to make all frequencies the same volume.
I'm not trying to sound like a dick, but as someone who's worked in audio for well over a decade...

I'll be putting him on ignore, I would encourage others do the same.
Honestly I have to agree. I'm all for lively discussion and people expressing their opinions, but the CONSTANT "the sky is falling! Everything is terrible! Maiden are doomed" is just getting so fucking tiresome.
I hope that Kevin posting about the Maiden live albums is a hint that he'll be mixing the new one. Though I'd be happy with Pooch doing it too. As long as it isn't Newton.
I think the talk of the ATG artwork being a new album/song hint is still a bit of a stretch. But interesting speculation...
