Not sure if this has been posted already? Bruce did a 2+ hour podcast with Rich Roll. Lots of interesting stuff:
I wish Maiden did more long form interviews like this.
At the end of the day I'm sure Joe wanted to go out and build his own career as a drummer/drum tech rather than just get paid to be on standby for several more years with Maiden. So he's made some connections and is out doing his own thing.
Because of this Simon was put on standby, and as...
It was more of a virtue signalling response orchestrated by Sharon than that there being anything wrong with Bruce waving the union jack in the first place.
She was upset about the reality show jabs from Bruce so decided to say he was disrespecting American troops by waving the union jack as...
I imagine Nicko will be working in some capacity as a spokesman for the band, doing promo and things. He's such a huge personality and it would certainly be much easier than life on the road.
The "stepping in behind the kit for 2025" is obviously interesting.
Seems to me that Maiden aren't looking to commit to making anyone a full member, and they're just going to take things a year at a time. So we could still see Simon in 2026.
Joe already has some touring commitments in place...
I mean checking out that live from Wacken clip that was posted the drumming seems absolutely fine, the singer on the other hand has no excitement or energy to his performance at all.
I don't know about Nicko recording in the future. Just because he's in a studio rather than a stadium doesn't bring his drumming ability back.
If there's a new drummer then he should be THE drummer for Maiden. Not someone who plays the live gigs but gets sidelined when they record.

Something interesting from a 2010 interview. Bruce mentioning continuing to record after the band stop touring.
I've always written off this idea despite Steve's recent comments, but if Bruce has the...
They wouldn't sign a contract to allow a random broadcaster to announce a documentary while Netflix and the band themselves have to keep shut about it.
Drums didn't seem muffled last year, if anything I thought the drum sound was really good. Pooch had said it was down to the new heads that Nicko was using on his kit.
Oh don't get me wrong. There is DEFINITELY a documentary coming. I'm even convinced it's coming next year. I fact I think releasing on Netflix in March even seems likely.
But when the first source posting this news was some random as fuck website with no prior track record or credibility then...
They don't seem to have cited any sources, we've not seen anything from the band or Netflix themselves. For all we know they're just reposting from that same site we've already seen?
