Powerslave is the highlight for me. It sounds perfect. Then, the 2 main epics, but I don't like the Rime visuals. Seventh Son and Powerslave are staged better.
This poll needed a 5th funny option. I really don't know what to choose. I choose The Chemical Wedding :blueangel:.
Even if I chose the tracks I like off each of these albums, I wouldn't be able to make an actually good Maiden album.
If they did something like Rime/Powerslave/The Trooper/The Clairvoyant/ SSOASS it would be better. They needed to seperate these 2 epics, because they have those quiet parts.
The only song off FOTD that I listen to nowadays is Judas.
If I ever listen to the title track, it'll be a live version (same for Afraid).
I never liked FHTE or Childhood's end or Wasting Love. The Fugitive, the Apparition, Weekend Warrior etc are meh at best (some of their worst tracks tbh)...
The legacy 2018 tour was 10 times better than the current tour. I, also, prefer the staging of past tour.
Personally, I don't care about the lineup change. It was for the best, as much as I love Nicko.
The setlist is my main issue as I don't really like the Killers songs, I don't think Aces...
These 2 are pretty close for me. BNW has my second favourite reunion song (ghost of the navigator), but PoM has 2 of my favourite Maiden tracks ever (Still Life and Revelations). Revelations is definitely in my top 3. So, I have to go with POM.
Production-wise they are both great and they are...
There are some other parts tha look like a screensaver. The big Eddie could be a screensaver, especially after the song is finished and Eddie is still there on the screen doing the exact same thing.
It definitely sounds happy, but I think it was on purpose because the lyrics say "as WE kill them all". So the hero of the song is happy at this stage. I always interpreted it that way.
I still think they will do something like that. Maybe they'll just treat the Blaze Era like they did with No Prayer and FOTD. (just one song off both albums, hopefully Futureal. I like the Clansman and SOTC but I've seen both live). They might also just play one song off each of the latest 3...
I'm into both sides of Maiden. Well, maybe they got more than 2 sides. My favourites are the first 5 albums with Bruce and the 00s albums (especially BNW and AMOLAD). I grew up in the 00s and AMOLAD was the first new Maiden album I got. So, it's special for me. I think the first 3 reunion albums...
The last 3 albums seemed bloated to me, especially BOS and all of them have some pretty boring material alongside good tracks.
TFF always ranked pretty low in my personal ranking. It was 15th or 16th, that low. Then I listened to a lot of No Prayer and FOTD before the latest tour to see if they...
I don't think they are planning to retire any time soon. They just decided to do this tour now, so that they are done with it and do whatever they want afterwards. They play some songs that are really challenging now, especially for Bruce and maybe that wouldn't be viable in 5-10 years time.
I...
