RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2025 Tour Thread *SPOILERS INSIDE*

I hope the new album is just ten straight Harris epics he snuck in before anyone else could even dream of getting a writing credit.

Poll: The strongest 90s Maiden album

With TXF I can only imagine what could have been with not terrible production. It's a shame as I really like the songs for the most part (although there's too many songs with slow brooding intros).

Poll: The strongest 90s Maiden album

If you compare TXF and Virtual XI to the Bruce albums before and after the 90s albums then the Bruce albums nearly always win in a landslide. It's just that No Prayer and Fear are quite weak so that the Blaze albums have a fighting chance. I still quite enjoy all their 90s stuff anyway.

Poll: The strongest 90s Maiden album

It's not sympathy. It's that TXF has probably the best collection of songs of any of these albums, sadly hindered by the production

    Battle of the unsingable choruses

Virtual XI has some lovely melodies, instrumental sections and solos. Just Nicko phoned it in, Harry needed reigning in with the choruses and repetition on lots of the album, and Blaze needed a few more takes on some of the songs. Blaze has said that whilst the X Factor production dragged for...

Poll: The strongest 90s Maiden album

I've got a huge soft spot for the blaze albums and they have their best 90s song on them by far I think, apart from FOTD and ATSS. However they are so flawed I am not sure if I can say they are the best. The FOTD album is so full of filler but it's nice enough to listen to. I might actually...

    The Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg

Unusually riffy for Maiden and I love it. I enjoy the lyrics and the drumming too.

    The Clansman

It's funny, X Factor probably has better songs overall but the production is so awful. Virtual's production is terrible as well but I much prefer the brighter, synthy sound of this album. Kind of wish X Factor sounded more like Virtual. Anyway this is probably Blazes best performance on a...
