Regarding Nicko drum cam clips
Nicko has been my favorite drummer and probably biggest inspiration on drumming since I began playing roughly 15 years ago
I was really facinated over seeing him play on video, but unfortunately these clips are rather sparse
As far as I know there is only one...
If we are referring to the same sound at 5:00, why cant it be Nickos voice? Really sounds like him
As a comparison listen to this from 3:56
Nicko really shouts all the time when playing drums
Both share a similar song structure with a slower melodic solo in the middle
Which solo is your favorite? (Yes, Powerslave has three solos which could be seen as unfair)
What would you rate the song without Adrians solo?
Both SIASL and Powerslave have much in common. They are some of my favorite Maiden songs, but its only cause of the incredible melodic solo sections in the middle. The remaining of the songs are kinda just filler to me
Same here man, first Maiden show I miss out on in Sweden since Sonisphere 2010. Hate when they only do a festival gig and no other show.
Since they played Ullevi last year my guess would be Tele2 Arena (most likely) or Friends
Yeah thats what I thought too. Went through BNW but couldn't find one single china.
Could also be too low in the mix, or my speakers are not good enough. You have to enhance the treble in the speakers to hear it more clearly
Everyone is writing about songs, but in my opinion the biggest missed opportunity live is not with the songs themselves, but rather with the stage show.
I love going to Maiden concerts, and I know that the boys will deliver and that it will be a fantastic time. But seeing them live for over 15...
Hmm, Adrian is background singing the whole chorus in this tour? If I recall correctly he has previously only sang "So understand..." and "Face up..."?
Hmm, I'm not hundred percent sure of what your theory is of. Is it that Bruce is helping Adrian with providing a cue for his solo?
In the clips it seems that Adrian has already began his first notes of the solo when Bruce says something
