    22, Acacia Avenue

9/10, My most recent relisten made me appreciate this song more, I like the way the pace and the mood change throughout the song.
  2. Viperlord

    The Prisoner

8/10. This song has risen a bit for me, suffering only very slightly from repetition. A strong, energetic, fun rocker, and nice bassline from Steve!
  3. Viperlord

    Children of the Damned

Nothing's changed here for me, still a 10/10. Fantastic song, I love it.

Where do you see Iron Maiden going after TBOS ?

Seems reasonable, and I certainly hope for that.

Where do you see Iron Maiden going after TBOS ?

Maybe so, but no plans beyond August have been announced yet as far as I can see, and the Wiki indicates it ends then. What I think might be possible is that they will do this leg, and then announce another, or not, after they see how Bruce's voice is doing.

Where do you see Iron Maiden going after TBOS ?

Where are you getting that? What I'm seeing is that they tour from February to August of next year. And not once coming anywhere near me, really. :/

    Hallowed Be Thy Name

One of the absolute best songs in heavy metal history. An easy 10/10.
  8. Viperlord

    The Number of the Beast

9/10. Not special enough for a 10, but I really do think it is a fantastic song and a real Maiden classic.

    Bruce's vocals

Personally, I think this is Bruce's best vocal performance in the whole of the reunion era, possibly excepting Brave New World.

Why A Matter Of Life and Death is Iron Maidens best album

While I like Dance of Death quite a bit, I don't know that polished is a term I would use to describe it. It's a sort of all-over the place album, in a good way for me, but still. Also, I love AMOLAD, consistent top five Maiden album for me. The Final Frontier has dropped off a bit for me over...

    Your First Iron Maiden Album/Experience?

Incidentally, and this will surprise me nobody, while I love quite a few songs on that record, the one that really grabbed me from the first listen and can be credited with making me a Maidan fan was, of course, Paschendale.

    Your First Iron Maiden Album/Experience?

My first Iron Maiden album was Dance of Death, at the age of 10; this was in 2004, so it was the most recent album at the time. My father gave it to me when I started to get interested in "adult" music, and the rest, as they say, is history.

The Book of Souls: General album discussion

I honestly don't understand the complaints about production on this album. I can hear all the instruments fine, Bruce's voice and the guitars have a lot more oomph than they've had on the recent albums, and I'm getting more of the bass, too, and all with a energetic, live feel that doesn't sound...

    Death Or Glory

I like the short rockers on this album quite a lot, including Death or Glory here. I actually quite enjoy the lyrics, and the song is really just a lot of fun, a hard-hitting rocker in the early 80s Maiden style. The band really seems to have been enjoying themselves on the two Smith/Dickinson...
