    Total Eclipse

Quite heavy song, I like the first part, not so much the second one. Still manages a 6/10

    Gangland

OK song, a decent rocker and fits in decently with the flow of the album, despite being probably its weakest track. 6/10

    Run to the Hills

I don’t think this song deserves to be Maiden’s most popular, but that’s just because they have put out a large number of incredible songs. It’s still a great song. 9/10

    The Number of the Beast

This song is undeniably a classic, and it’s dedinitely not a coincidence. I can understand how people that have been at tens of Maiden concerts may not be as interested in it anymore, but it’s definitely a song that works incredibly well live, starting from the intro, great to open the encore...

    22, Acacia Avenue

Much better than Charlotte The Harlot, but I feel it still lacks something, despite having some interesting parts. 7/10

    The Prisoner

Nice intro, catchy chorus, good solo. Overall, the song is slightly repetitive though. 8/10

    Children of the Damned

Great song. Bruce’s voice really shines here for the first time, the changes in tempo are lovely, the solos are great. Glad they brought it back for the Book Of Souls. 9/10

    Invaders

I agree with others that the chorus can be kind of annoying, but I think this song already shows some of the new things that had become possible with Bruce’s arrival, and overall it’s a decent song and a good intro. 7/10
  9. GiovaOfficial

    Drifter

Quite enjoyable, expecially live, a decent way to close the album, but nothing too crazy. 6/10

    Twilight Zone

Filler. OK rhythm, but very uninspiring song. 4/10, this song represents very well why Killers is not on the same level as Iron Maiden, despite the better production

    Purgatory

I actually really like this song. The happier tone fits well this time, the singing is good, Clive sounds great and powers up the song, making this a very enjoyable rocker. I think it’s a shame Bruce couldn’t sing this song. 9/10

    Prodigal Son

Good solos, but the rest of the song is rather uninspiring, and the happy tone doesn’t really fit well for me. 5/10
  13. GiovaOfficial

    Killers

Good song, love the screams from both Paul and Bruce. I still wouldn’t class it on the same level as Wrathchild and Murders In The Rue Morgue, and probably Purgatory too. 8/10 for me

    Innocent Exile

Once again, good instrumental, but very poor lyrically speaking. 5/10
  15. GiovaOfficial

    Genghis Khan

It’s creative, very fast and everything, but I don’t think as a whole it’s so amazing, and you tend to forget it even exists. 6/10
  16. GiovaOfficial

    Another Life

I think the instrumental on this one is pretty great, but you can’t just repeat a verse 3 times and expect to get away with it. This song is clearly unfinished. 6/10 because it could have been quite great
  17. GiovaOfficial

    Murders in the Rue Morgue

One of the best Di Anno era songs, most definitely. Decent lyrics, expecially compared to the rest of early Maiden songs, nice intro, nice bass, and overall a fun song, that maybe should be played live again
  18. GiovaOfficial

    Wrathchild

While I can understand some people’s frustrations for this son being played too often live, considering how vast and great Maiden’s catalogue is, that can’t really take much away from the song itself. Everything works very well, the vocals, the solo, the bass, the chorus, and it’s very enjoyable...
  19. GiovaOfficial

    The Ides of March

You can’t really class it as a great song on its own, but it works amazingly as an intro, expecially for Wrathchild. 8/10
  20. GiovaOfficial

    Iron Maiden

8/10. I know it's not amazing on any basis, but it's always very enjoyable, expecially in the live versions, and it serves well as the Maiden anthem
