    Worst 3 consecutive songs

I love Fear of the Dark as well. Its not an epic album, but the songs are still of high quality.

Interesting that you have Piece of Mind at the top of your list. It's good for the band though, if we all differ in our favourites.

    No Prayer for the Dying

Interesting. Which songs do you consider weak? Virtual XI gets played quite a lot in my house.

What Iron Maiden song you heard first?

It was 'The Number of the Beast', and I listened to the album constantly. As an 8 year old boy I felt like I was betraying Maiden by listening to anything else.

The Talisman/The Man Who Would Be King/When the Wild Wind Blows.

    favourite 3 consecutive songs?

OK, Blood Brothers/The Mercenary/Dream of Mirrors I also like the opening to The Final Frontier. It's raucous and heavy and just sounds great!

    No Prayer for the Dying

Virtual XI would definitely be up there if Bruce was on vocals, but on the whole I am a fan of Blaze too.

    No Prayer For the Dying

Re: Daily Song: No Prayer For the Dying The lead guitar is fantastic, and I love the introspective, Dickinsonesque lyrics. I even like the fact that it doesn't really have a chorus.

    Holy Smoke

Re: Daily Song: Holy Smoke I love the lyrics and I love the way they are delivered.

    On repetitive choruses

The only maiden song which actually made me think "Wow, that's a lot of repetition," was The Angel and the Gambler: Don't you think I'm a saviour? Don't you think I could save you? Don't you think I could save your life? It goes on for AGES!

    Tailgunner

Re: Daily Song: Tailgunner I think the lyrics are fine. They scan really well and suit the music perfectly - but then No Prayer is my favourite IM album so I would say that. The only reason I didn't give it a 10 is that the chorus is a bit repetitive. 9/10.

What's the best proof to show that Iron Maiden is NOT satanic

You could also try pointing out that neither God or the Devil actually exist, so it doesn't matter if they sing about them or not.

Will we find out, at some point, who wrote the lyrics on each track, and who wrote the music?
