Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

I think I found a picture of Adrian's second prototype of the maple neck/black pickguard Jackson, I took a screenshot from the Wacken 2023 show, AFAIK this one has a chipped pickguard and a "clearer" white, the first prototype has a yellowish white iirc.

Completely agree, I’d love to see BQOBD too

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

First photo is the cream Strat with zebra humbuckers (possibly the third cream Strat, this guitar is the one that confuses me) Second photo is the hot rails cream Strat (ex-blue sunburst Strat) Third photo is the full black/zebra humbuckers Strat (ex-sunburst Strat)

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

Yeah, those 3 can be seen in the show, here are the pictures (sorry for the shitty quality) I tried to show parts from the video where all pickups can be seen to make the thing easier.

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

Hey @matic22 I was watching this gig from the Virtual XI tour and realized something very interesting… Remember that some pages ago we discussed about Dave’s cream Strats from Raising Hell? I remember that you mentioned that there was a speculation of a third cream Strat, and I think that it in...

A Matter of Life and Death: individual album judgement by yours truly

Well, my turn: AMOLAD is for me the best post-reunion Maiden album, love the religion/war theme, the cover and the songs, I think the progressive approach of it makes it so unique and for many of Maiden fans a fan favorite if we talk about the post-reunion albums. With Dance of Death being my...

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

He hates it. I went to the Future Past Tour show in Bogota 5 months ago and the weed smokers were a lot, Bruce complained about it, he said that it fucks up his voice.

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

Yeah I know that Aces has been Maiden’s opener for years, there are lots of people that don’t want it as the opener (me included believe it or not), I think that it’s time to open with a 90’s song, BQOBD is the perfect opener for me at least. Aces should have been retired before 2022.

Too old? Mate, they’re still ‘gonna die with their boots on’. Just maybe orthopedic ones now.

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

It would be creative to see a non used as opener song, I agree about Moonchild as the opener.

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

Agreed. Be quick HAS to be the opener, but the possibility of Aces is very High

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

True, Maiden usually spaces out their openers, but Aces High has been their trusty opener for a long time. Aces as an encore though? Yeah, agree, too front-loaded energy-wise, so it’s not possible to see it as an encore. I want Maiden to open with Be Quick or be Dead, but I lost the faith on it...

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

Thanks! Is there any picture of the #2 maple black/pickguard model (the one with the chipped pickguard)? And is it distinguishable from the main prototype?

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

Thanks for the reply! The second prototype of the 8432 was the one stolen on Greece according to what I read here. But did Adrian get another prototype after the theft? Or the production model with the JB in bridge from TBOS era could count as the replacement for the stolen guitar?

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

I think this is the 8431 because it lacks H’s signature, and AFAIK the 2nd prototype has it, I hope there’s a photo of both guitars together.

Adrian, Janick and Dave's guitars and Steve's basses

is there any photo of the second prototype of Adrian’s 8431 Jackson? As far as I know it has a chipped pickguard but I don’t know if it is distinguishable from the main 8431 model because AFAIK Adrian broke the headstock of it in Munich in 2018 and it has a production one with its signature on it.
