Speaking of Iron Maiden and movies....Yesterday I decided to combine 2 of my favourite things. Iron Maiden and The Terminator movies.

I quickly become mildly irritated by Dave Murray's lisp whenever I hear him speak during interviews.

Maybe it was the band's way of getting revenge for those Canadian Mountie CD slipcases being banned.

Is it weird that I'm looking forward to the Donington gig tomorrow even though I'm not actually going to it? I always think it's really cool when Maiden comes home for a show during a world tour, and I'm just looking forward to seeing all the clips from the show. I wish I was able to go but...

I'd like an official blu ray release of this current tour. I'd also like some kind of official live version of The Writing On The Wall because it sounds so biblical.

Bruce was almost LITERALLY on fire in Latvia tonight. If he had been wearing one of those 1990s death trap shell suits he would've been barbecued.

I couldn't get into the studio version of The Writing On The Wall, but now after hearing the live version I can't stop singing it.

In my opinion, Bruce still sounds great, especially when compared to other singers whose vocals have significantly deteriorated over the last 20 years such as Axl Rose who sounds like an asthmatic Bee Gee when he sings now. Anyway, here is the full Lithuania gig in HD....

I've just seen this on Facebook and thought I would post it here. My other contribution to this thread was toilet related too, so I would like to reassure everyone that that IS a coincidence and that I don't have some kind of bizarre obsession with toilets.

I fear being in pain at the end and knowing the end is near. I don't necessarily fear the actual being dead part though. Dead people don't suffer as far as I'm aware, so I have no reason to fear death, but I do fear dying.

I know exactly what you mean. I wasn't a big fan of The Writing On The Wall, but it sounds amazing live and now I love the song.

I was looking at Maiden pictures online as I often do, and I saw this photo from 1998 of the band promoting Futureal on CD and vinyl. I zoomed in and noticed that on the right side there is a CD2 of Futureal that I have never seen before. Was this CD actually released anywhere? I can't find...
