Just like the final frontier it's not what I wanted I miss the 80's some 90's and BNW days of maiden but I will try and keep listen to see if I change my mind. Nicko sounds like a 2mph turtle on drums and bruce sounds like he's getting strangled.

LOL I don't wanna see my favourite band go downhill, I rather they be in their prime then seeing a 70 year old nicko making constipated faces and hearing bruces voice completly strained.

I hope this is maidens last album. Looked on Wikipedia and their all 59 apart from bruce who's 57 and nickos 63. Dont forget we are still waiting for History of Iron Maiden part 4.

LOL yea it's good seeing everyones comments but they are a certain amount of maiden fans who don't like it otherwise these threads wouldn't be here in the first place but I'm still looking forward to the rest of the album.

I think people like me who was born in 1990, I like 80's, some 90's and consider BNW to be a masterpiece. I know maiden have to do new stuff but they sholud still make it sound like the maiden people like me and PC love where as SOL sounds nothing like what I hoped maiden would sound like.

Yea I agree and I love having these conversations as maiden are my life. I hated TFF not too mention the album cover looked nothing like eddie. I just feel people like me wanted a catchy wicker man or rainmaker single instead but i hope the rest of the album is good but in my mind BNW was...

I know, listen to the intro nickos drum fill at 14 seconds in after he hits the cowbell sounds so out of time not too mention the toms sound horrible.

100% agree with you mate, Maiden will always be my favourite band but I really miss the BNW, DOD era I think those albums are amazing and was really expecting something more then a song what sounds like an unfinished demo.;)

Just like the DOD cover, I like eddie as the reaper but they could of had medieval monks in the background or something.
