I used to watch the BeanPot when I lived in Massachusettes. Go Terriers!

They just won't go away. Notice how they keep Pierre McGuire in that little box between the benches during broadcasts?  I have an idea for a name for that segment. It's called "The Tool Box with Pierre McGuire!"

Seattle was the first American city to win the Cup. The Metropalitans way back in 1917. I'd like to see either Pheonix, Atlanta or Nashville move to Winnipeg. Bring back the Jets!

    USA Politics

Because we have a for profit healthcare system. Everyone wants to make as much money as they can. Doctors, healthcare facilities, pharmacuetical companies, medical research & development companies and health care insurance companies want to make as much money as they can. All of the groups I've...

I know Joe Neiuwendyk wanted Dubinsky and Staal for Richards. I think that was a nice way of saying to Glenn Sather "go fuck yourself." I think the Rangers are gonna go after Richards in July. But they need a bonafide playmaker.

You guys failed to mention the Wayne Gretzky of the Made of Glass league: Rick DiPietro. In all seriousness, Gaborik's lack of production is him not having a center to distribute the puck. It has been the bane of the Ranger's offense ever since Michael Nylander left and Jagr had no one to give...

I thought the Rangers were done after they went down 3-0. Glad I don't turn off the games. Thomas was uncharacteristicly out of position on the game winner. Huge win, but the Rangers payed a huge price: Ryan Callahan broke his ankle blocking a Zdeno Chara slapper on the last minute of the game...

    Montsegur

Re: Daily Song: Montsegur It's a good song. About what I expected from it.

    Worst Single Lyric/Line

Prancing is something that is kind of effeminate. It is something that faries and unicorns do out in the woods. Not something the undead would be doing. Guess that is why it does'nt really fit the story of the song.

"I danced an I pranced..."    I just lost the vibe when I heard that line. It is as bad as " in a time when dinosaurs walked the Earth." I have to skip those songs whenever they get shuffled into my Mp3 player.

    No More Lies

Re: Daily Song: No More Lies Nice story Foro, made me laugh. I like this song alot, but i don't know why I only could give it an eight.

    Your Maiden blasphemy

I really don't like Dance of Death. Just the line " I danced and I pranced" just kind of kills it for me. Plus the melody of the last 3rd of the song sounds like some kind of fiddle hootnany bullshit. I put it in the same catagory of Quest for Fire or Chains of Misery.

4-1 loss to the Islanders...are you fucking kidding me? Now the Rangers have to beat both Boston and Philly just to keep the 8th spot. Guess that lack of offense is finally biting them in the ass. Got two words for Torts next practice...BAG SKATE!!

Looks like it's going to come down to the Rangers and Hurricanes for 8th. Can't believe the Rangers can't score any goals lately.

Gretzky's 81-82 season was the greatest single season that any player in any team sport ever had. Not taking anything away from Sid, but he does have some good team mates. The Pens can put alot of different top quality lines, much like the Oilers of the 1980s could. They are deeper in the...

I don't think there is or will ever be a player that could make Gretzky or Lemieux look like a 3rd liner lol. Gretzky had an unbelievable run from 82-86, especially the 81-82 season. 50 goals in 39 games, 92 goals and 212 points is a season that no one will ever touch, no matter how many...

Thomas got another 32 save shut out last night. He'll probably get the Vezina with his .948 save %. I remember back in the late 80's and early 90's where a .890 was considered superb, now we are talking .92+

Yeah, Lunqvist really is the lynchpin for the Rangers. I love Dubinsky. He can do alot of different things, and Callahan has been insanely clucth lately. McKindog, the Whalercanes lost last night, so that is some good news.

The Rangers squeak out another one. 3 goals in their last 3 games and they won 2 of them and got a point in the one they lost. They love giving me more gray hair. King Henrick getting his 11th shutout. The Rangers also blocked 16 shots in the third period alone. I might be having a case of optimism.

Goaltending discussions are always touchy are'nt they? It is the most unique position in sports, where they are'nt judged on the saves they make, but the goals they allow. A goalie can have the best numbers in the world, but if his team can get him the lead, then that really effects the light in...
