    SSOASS Vs. AMOLAD

Agreed. Then again, AMOLAD and BNW are my two favorite Maiden albums.

    Bruce Dickinson

Regarding Z off the remix project, that would be the slagging, based on that he was announced heading the project after being dismissed from the live band.

Who would have known that constantly slagging of your boss in public will get you booted... :D

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2025 Tour Thread *SPOILERS INSIDE*

Yes, but like 1/4th of the comments in this thread already covers that. Move on. Aces is getting played, Maiden would benefit from tuning down, yep, but it is what it is, and this is a fine enough performance. This isn't 2009 anymore, and as much as Bruce needs to accept that, so do members of...

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2025 Tour Thread *SPOILERS INSIDE*

Not bad for an almost 67 year old singer. In fact, pretty good indeed.

So, Rime, SSOASS, Murders and Killers aren't deep cuts? Because they have each been played on one (!) tour the past 26 years? They are live deepcuts.

    Battle of the unsingable choruses

Bruce says "what?" Seriously, MoM is probably my least favorite Bruce studio moment.

    SSOASS Vs. AMOLAD

No, I don't think there is a single filler song on AMOLAD. I don't like Prophecy, because the vocals don't gel with the music. I like Madness quite a bit, but even as a new Maiden fan, I certainly wasn't going "wow what a great song". AMOLAD is more even, though I will say that SSOASS peaks higher.

    SSOASS Vs. AMOLAD

AMOLAD is one of my two favorite Maiden records, and I would agree that there aren't any obvious anthems. Still a collection of some of the best songs Maiden have made though.

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2025 Tour Thread *SPOILERS INSIDE*

Many of us became fans just a few years after, and I distinctly remember Steve saying in 2006, right before AMOLAD, how it might be their last album and that every show can be their last and that's why he treasures every single one. Here we are, 19 years down the road. I am very much happy...

And most setlists are good for the first timers, as long as they contain the absolute hits - which this set certainly does, and more.

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2025 Tour Thread *SPOILERS INSIDE*

Now that is true, though it so happens that these opinions and taste very often convert into a whinefest because Maiden don't cater to one's personal preferences, or become the focal point of all discussions. Detail orientation sometimes gets in the way of ones own enjoyment. It is very fair to...

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2025 Tour Thread *SPOILERS INSIDE*

Well, playing the same song over and over is about as realistic as Steve singing Hallelujah in falsetto dressed in a minister's robe, which is so outrageous an argument that you can't even prove a point with it. :smartarse: Though I would love to see a setlist with Angel, Invaders, Quest and...

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2025 Tour Thread *SPOILERS INSIDE*

No, it really isn't. This could very well be it. Enjoy the moment, because it may be your last gig. We should be happy they are touring this cycle at all, let alone bringing in some killer and epic songs. "More wants More", is however, a bit of a poor argument.

    Russia invades Ukraine

Putin has been offered many defacto concessions. They have tried that, but ultimately he isn't interested in anything other than Ukraine surrendering. Putis doesn't seem to be into saving face, but rather, he has doubled down over and over.

No Prayer For The Dying Vs. The Final Frontier

I really, really dislike No Prayer. I can cut Lulu some slack, considering it's more of a Lou Reed album with Metallica as the backing band than Metallica featuring Lou Reed. Maiden should have taken a break in 1990 and saved ...Daughter and perhaps Tailgunner for FoTD instead.
