For all of you clamoring for Alexander the Great, just imagine what he'd do with those lyrics.
I bet the Phrygian king would have difficulty binding a chariot yoke, if you know what I mean.
I voted for New Frontier which is one of the most inconsistent songs in the IM catalog. If find the opeing kind of weak and the verses (delivery AND lyrics) are among the worst I can think of, but the chorus and scorching hot leads almost bring it to the realm of all-time classics.

Re: Iron Maiden Survivor III: Brave New World round 2 (Nov 16-17)
Apparently its better than The Trooper. Hmmm. One of metal's all-time best songs vs. some 9 minute slog whose most memorable moments are ripped off from Metallica.
Re: Iron Maiden Survivor III: Brave New World round 1 (Nov 14-15)
Why the Trooper attack? Attacking the Clairvoyant would seem to make as much if not more sense to me (as 7th Son also has 3 songs left). There is a reason why The Trooper is one of metal's most famous riffs. There's a time to...

The Beatles would work quite well. Rubber Soul, Revolver, Sgt Pepper, the White Album and Abbey Road are solid throughout, it's only the first couple that are "singles" albums.

Re: Iron Maiden Survivor III: Fear Of The Dark round 1 (Oct 27-28)
Yes. My vote is the same. These songs are much worse than Still Life, Wasted Years and Stranger in a Stranger.
Re: Iron Maiden Survivor III: No Prayer For The Dying round 3 (Oct 25-26)
The next round will include Fear of the Dark. There is no way that Troopie, Dune, or Still Life will be voted out, for at least a few rounds. Save your votes.
I would be perfectly happy to let him do the vocals to Transylvania, Losfer Words, or the Ides of March. I'd consider Genghis Khan, but I'm not sure he has that kind of range.
Number of the Beast by Zwan.
I don't have a link to it, but it's from the opening montage in the movie, "Spun" which stars Jason Schwartzman as this crazy tweaker.
Very mellow, acoustic take, completely unexpected.
