Morning. This video is a TV documentary about The Untouchables, from 1992. It contains interview and 3 live performances. Well, I'm almost sure the 3 songs from the only known audio bootleg come from this video. I'll try and check for more info...
He hardly spent 1 year with a band. But drummers were just like that. See Clive Burr and Thunderstick...
A curious fact is that two guys from this Blazer Blazer lineup were the composers of "Juanita".
If copyright was an issue Paul Di'Anno would be in trouble since Battlezone. I'm not saying he can deliberately play Maiden songs, but there must be a contract between them. The same for Blaze, Dennis Stratton, etc.
Wrong info about Paul White: He was the keyboard player, not the drummer. Sorry.
There is that very good old site about Bruce: http://www.bookofhours.net/bdwbn/early.htm, which explains early Dickinson's bands. There's even pictures from both Speed and Paul White's Speed. I think this is the...
Forostar, there is a difference between Speed and Paul White's Speed. The first one is the real band where Bruce played before Shots - i think from 1976 to 1978. The record we hear is a new Speed project put up by the only reminiscent Speed drummer Paul White, in 1979 (Bruce was already involved...
I listened just 3 songs and until now the British Lion album is good. In my opinion may it suffers the "last Indiana Jones film's syndrome", which is when a project got delayed for so long that it will diverge from its initial concept. Change of musicians, writings, resumption of old ideas, etc...
She's a Roller single selling right now on eBay.

Another band Nicko played from 1977 to 1978, after Pat Travers Band. It was called Blazer Blazer. Members were: Jeb Milne (voc), Derek O'Neil (gtr, voc), Steve Barnacle (b), Nicko McBrain (dr).
Three above, l to r: Derek, Nicko, Jeb
Bottom: Steve
Alright, the Stretch picture with Nicko McBrain. This isn't a very nice picture because I had to scan from the back cover of the cd. Yes, cd. Although Hot Wax was a poor label and Forget the Past was only released on vinyl, i found a japanese cd with a clean sound.
I guess it isn't hard to...

Will you also consider Rebecca McBrain's Voyager album? Nicko was part of the band of his wife.
There's only one song available on YouTube. Can't find the album to buy...
Excelent! Thanks for the MySpace page, i can hear some of the Jarren tracks. They're beautiful.
Nicko played in the entire Stretch's Forget the Past album. I will return to this topic later and post the only picture i know of Nicko with Stretch. cheers
Hi Forostar. Jenny Darren was a rock-dance singer in the 70s-80s and she released a few albums starting with Queen of Fools in 1978. She used to had an early and useful site instead of this crap new one, unfortunately. As far as i can remember she briefly talked about future Maiden member...
You can also count Samson - Survivors as an album with Bruce Dickinson, only he recorded the vocals in 1980.
There is also another little known record with Nicko McBrain with Jenny Darren Band: 1980-??-?? - Jenny Darren
The current date for the boot 10/09/1979-Camden Music Machine, London, England, is actually 30/09/1979 as Tony Parsons first gig with Maiden occurred on 27/09/1979.
