The Man Who Would Be King That one brief fraction of a second between the intro and when the song kicks in...and Bruce's voice soars out of the emptiness just a fraction of a second ahead of the guitar....it sends a chill down my spine.

Re: TFF has NO repeating choruses? TFF is the only song that really has a repetitious chorus....but it doesn't really feel overly repetitious. You know Mother Of Mercy doesnt go like that, silly. In between each Mother Of Mercy line, there's a different line, like "Angel of death desire"

Have mercy, indeed! It almost doesnt even feel like a song about the horrors of war and what it does to a man. As it kicks in, I love the twin harmonized guitars...very different for Maiden. Settles in to a nice mid-tempo gallop with a very nice melody in the verse, and a different chorus for...

Edit: I pasted the wrong writeup for this one the first time....fixed now... Not afraid to admit that this song nearly brings a tear. Some of Bruce's finest vocal moments here...and I don't give a shit what anyone says...this is NOT a ballad, anymore than COTD or ATSS were ballads. Just because...
