I am not excusing the band for being underrehearsed, but can you imagine the amount of willpower that they will have to summon up to rehearse the same songs that they’ve played with Nicko for decades?

To be fair, they have played the 5 obvious Blaze tunes with Bruce. Therefore I have to go with one of two personal favourites from that era: Como Estais Amigos and The Educated Fool.

I am in the Frozen phase with my daughter. We were watching the blu ray on our 4K TV. To my eyes, it looks equally as good as any 4K stream. I enjoying owning physical media, but I have to be selective. It’s easy to become overwhelmed with stuff you don’t listen to or watch.

I think DVD is still just used as vernacular for home media releases.

My friend and I said the gig felt different last time. The band sounded great, but it wasn’t the best show. Especially when compared to the BOS, LOTB and TFP tours.

I am very much anti backing tracks. Just hire a few more session musicians to augment the sound. When I go to a concert, I don’t expect it to sound like the album.

100% agree. I loved the setlist. The combinations of Revelations, Blood Brothers, SOTC and FOI was top drawer as well.

Download 2007 had lots of fuck ups. Despite the obvious ones, I remember Bruce looking a bit miffed that the spot light didn’t work during FTGGOG.

Quite a few people disliked Senjutsu as an opener. I really enjoyed it.

Even the person filming this gave up on Aces High.

I’m not being over dramatic when I say this, but it does upset me when I hear them perform like this. It’s embarrassing. I am actually amazed that some fans have the ears to put up with it.

They also produce too many variants of the same product and pressure small guitar shops to carry lots of them. Our local guitar shop struggles with this. They simply don’t sell.

I agree. I think Rainmaker is too hard on Bruce live. He struggled in 2003-2004. It’s such a shame because it’s probably one of my top five Maiden songs. DWYBO is also great. I can’t see a reason for it not being played. They should have done it on 2012-2014.
