I have the graphic novel, but I've never seen the movie adaptation of it, though I hear it's pretty faithful to the original and has a cool soundtrack.

I feel the exact same way.  I just can't listen to it.  I try, but aside form those three songs I really dislike everything about that album.

My favorite moment of the album is the chorus to Isle Of Avalon, "Mother Fertility Godess, Celebration...etc"

That section is my favorite vocal of the album.  He's reserved in his delivery, but it's filled with emotion.  He gets across beautifully what's going on at that point of the story.

Do you dislike most of his vocals on TFF?  I think overall he sounds better than he has on a Maiden album since BNW.

Just my opinion here, but I think this is why Bruce sounds better on his solo albums than the newer Maiden material.  With his own material he's writing within his comfort zone, but with Maiden he's usually singing melodies dictated by Steve.

I'd be more productive in a cubicle, then I wouldn't have a one year old tugging on my leg, yelling "goo gah ahoooo" over and over.  These are the days I wish I would have stuck it out as a studio musician.  I swear, once I finish building my studio I will do no work at all and end up firing myself.

It's natural that males lose the high end of their range at this age, happens to trained Opera and Jazz vocalists as well.  One of things that's really different now is the way he records vocals.  I believe he said TFF vocals were done in 8 hours, with one song being almost entirely one take...

Overall he does, but if you are listening to the LP version of Live After Death or the 2 disc remaster versions that have all the songs (the original CD didn't have the full album), his vocals on the 5 songs recorded at Hammersmith sound much better than the ones recorded 6 months and 89 shows...

That's the Japanese lyric booklet, they are always black and white.  The color booklet is still in the case, and to the right of the black and white booklet is a sticker of the cover.  The OBI strip is next to the tin case, they usually just cover the spine but in this case it extends to cover...

Got 2 of these today, and one of the 1st printings of the regular Japanese version which is already out of print (which is why 1st pressing Japanese discs are collectible).  Probably won't get a chance to do a comparison any time real soon, but I suspect it will be the same as the other...
