I love the Red and the Black, one of my, if not THE best song ever. I also like the Steven Battelle cover - fantastic. A gripe with the album is the two ballads, side by side. Not a fan of either of those songs, and side by side puts a massive drag on the album.

Here is a much better version of the album. Decent drum sounds and a better vocal. But still the songs are rubbish (IMO) I really hate the loud and soft bits, and the drum sound is horrifically bad. Not as bad as St Anger drums but pretty awful and off putting for me.
