Lord of Light?

This was virtually perfect. The only issue is during the chorus when Blaze starts sounding like he's really high and really bored. :/

Perfection. The atmosphere and lyrics capture the essence of loneliness and despair. The chorus, despite it being so heart-wrenching, sticks in your head forever. Janick's lead is fantastic. Sometimes the simplest music can be the most beautiful. 10/10

7/10 Has a really fantastic intro and I love Blaze's timbre in the first verse. Second verse (As the ominous light draws near...) is a bit boring and bland, but the catchy chorus and Davey's amazing solo bring this up a lot. Janick's solo is...well....interesting?

I couldn't have said it better myself, Glenn Tipton is a god. Are you familiar with his solo on All Guns Blazing? It's the perfect balance between technique and melodic power.
