See, that’s fair. Like I said, to me it’s a fun like novelty that they never repeated, but to each their own. I feel like a lot of the time people just dismiss it out of hand because it’s rap, not for any other reason.

I don’t really know why the rap gets criticized so much. To me it’s a fun experiment by a band that was always taking inspiration from the sounds of the evolving times. Like are we gonna go after all of the reggae stuff they did in the early ‘80s too?

From personal experience, Trumpets probably has the most difficult chorus because it’s kinda got a few different peaks happening back and forth. Thel is about on the same level though. The Tower is the easiest of the three cuz you just go up and stay there.

I like “Sonata”. It definitely feels ad-libbed but it’s far from the worst thing he’s ever done. The chorus rules.

Yep, same for me. I think the last time I scored it it totaled to an 80% for me. No bad songs, just a bit of a hodgepodge and not as good as AoB, TCW, ToS, and Skunkworks. Also wish the production wasn’t so muddy.
