RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

Props Maiden's way, but they said they will do something different from anything they have done before, so. Will big props and big screen combine well? They used 2 small screens for TFP, while the options for the new tour are: more than 2 screens (like Priest's current tour, for effects; or...

    Bruce Dickinson

I really hope he adds it for the next album and I'm very curious when he'll release it. About Original Sin, if he ever finds it, I guess he'll most likely include it in the upcoming remixed version of BTP, right? I don't think Bruce will have issues with the songs/ideas they've written over the...

    50th Anniversary Documentary Announcement

True that. Now is a perfect time for that. Probably. And if we want a deep dive (all albums, all eras) documentary (official biography film/series of videos), it should be recorded by the band for their entire career (like at least 1 hour on each album) after their retire. Not a movie. One or...

    50th Anniversary Documentary Announcement

Agreed. And a short 1 year FFTE tour (instead of ME - or in 2014's 3rd leg, to say, after the heavy newer material sets in 2010/2011 and the fact that they celebrated concert videos) would have been better at the time, with more 90's songs and some Reunion classics (from the first 3 like in...

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

Really? A noticeable prop for a big epic won't be a surprise (although with more screens I wonder if they use props?), but a boat... wow. I guess it's just an expression.

Thanks for sharing this interesting interview. But I think Adrian is referring to his own opinion about his ''strange'' ideas for this album and that it's odd even for Reunion ''prog'' Maiden. Plus he wanted a different production for it. He had said that he always try do something new on each...

    Black Sabbath

Heavy riffs are great, but doom metal style for the whole album is not for me, despite some good ideas and vocals from Dio. I like ''Fear'', ''Double The Pain'' and the song ''Ear In The Wall'' from the compilation album. Some others like ''Follow The Tears'' are effective.

    18th Studio Album discussion

I think the best way to say it is: Maiden's music is more involving and more interesting. Also - details, playing, ideas. Important stuff, as @Starblind said. Formulatic? The slow intros/outros, yes. It's not a negative thing. But Reunion era is so different from the 80's era and early 90's...

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

It's not impossible, but I doubt it. LOTB will remain the most theatrical tour. The screens will make the show this time, ofc Bruce will have some costumes, he likes that.

    50th Anniversary Documentary Announcement

Just because of the documentary film? I'd like to believe it's because of the big anniv and they need to celebrate with more than just a tour. And this project was in the works for a couple of years (iirc) plus Steve's liner notes in SJ's booklet. Ofc the age factor is here, but let's not forget...

^This is news to me. I thought it's because he prefers to write shorter songs in general.

The Greatest Metal Song Cup - Part II, Round 5, Matches 61-66

God Of Thunder works and with Gene (I like Paul's vocals for it a lot, the faster version - not the backing vocals though), it's a heavy stomper but not melodic. Not a big fan of it. A7X's Nightmare has some melodic approach and is a typical alternative metal. The best song this round is...

    50th Anniversary Documentary Announcement

How long will it be? Over 2 hours for sure, right. With footage and lots of interviews. Done right, it could be cool. Agreed. I prefer more detailed/stories about the band's albums and tours. Hmmm, what else could they release this year for the anniv...

    50th Anniversary Documentary Announcement

Yeah! From which tours? Maybe: early days, SIT(!), NPFTD(?), Blaze era(!), TEH (for sure right)... imagine something from POM, 1982(?), LOTB '22 (because of SJ)/LOTB '18, AMOLAD 2006, 2005. I'm also curious about the animations with Eddie, hope it's better than the game's.

    50th Anniversary Documentary Announcement

Cool. More surprises this year, please. :) It will be released around with the book, I guess. ''Rare archival footage and spectacular animation with Eddie'' - awesome. Animation they will use during the tour, right. From the wording, it won't be a detailed and songs-heavy documentary. Maybe...

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

I wonder what stage costume Bruce would choose - leather like in the early days/current solo tour or something like TFP-esque again.

    18th Studio Album discussion

Having 2 albums in the can for more than 2 years, when they write a new album quickly now, can't see that. They just saved the ideas. And we wouldn't have TFP tour, although they probably knew (not sure; SIT throwback tour? who knows) their plans for the next tour after the album tour. They...

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

Agreed. Sign Of The Cross was a surprise (although there was a hint in the poster, but we thought it was for Greater Good because of the teaser) because we didn't think they would play 2 Blaze songs in one set again. This tour could have 3 80's epics! And more mini-epics. Which would be unique.

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

Well said about Dave's comment and the hints these days. After all, they wanted to play it in 2012, so why not give it a real try. Like Alexander in 1986. And with Clairvoyant - part of the hints for the 2018 tour, but it hasn't been played, so it has a chance now (HCW was played last year...

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

I understand you, but I think such a book is a special release. They could have used other titles, from the big classics or the early days.
