I think the statement from Rod on their official website was class. No need to go all nuclear like John Lydon. The band will be in Australia at the time of the induction ceremony so they won't even be there. I know many here don't give a shit about the RnR HoF and I have issues with it as well...

What that actually means is they were inducted in the Performer Category, meaning they were voted in. Unlike Priest who went in under the Musical Excellence Category, meaning they were selected by a small committee.

Yeah I edited my post. The boys will be in Australia on tour at that time so the only members who could possibly go would be Nicko, Blaze, and Dennis.

And they were voted in as Performer and not the Musical Excellence that Priest got. Kinda surprised. Will be interesting to see how they will handle it. Personally I wouldn't mind them all being there and performing, just to see Bruce and Blaze together on stage. Edit: Just realized they will...

The inductees. My guess if Maiden make it this time it will be the same as Judas Priest - the Musical Excellence Category, which is appointed by a small commitee. Not the normal Perfomer category which is voted on.
