Paul Cairns (Mad Mac) played on The Soundhouse Tapes

@BludBrutha here's your answer... However, before saying that "it doesn't make sense" you should consider the entire situation in which Maiden were. In 1981, Maiden was still an upcoming band and even though Paul had been in the band for three years and was identified as the voice of Maiden...

No, he is pointing that Blaze has credits on Man On The Edge, Look For The Truth, The Aftermath, The Edge Of Darkness and 2 A.M.

Clearly the rule changed after Janick... Especially because Maiden needed to highlight their new vocalist

Explanation time my friend @srfc Bruce maybe competent on the guitar (and drums) however he likes to work with other people. He might have had the idea for the song played in his acoustic guitar, but, as he confessed to Mick Wall in the Run To The Hills book and is what @GhostofCain is quoting...

Completely agree... It was a full sh*t show unfortunately. I was once contacted by Wilcock's lawyer and I know he contacted other fans... As I am a lawyer myself I told him to think about his client but he was so big headead that he thought he was the second coming of God or something and...

Janick and Bruce wrote all the songs (with the exception of 'No Lies' and obviously 'All The Young Dudes') in Tattooed Millionaire including 'Bring Your Daughter...' Bruce basically went to Janick's house with the idea of the song and Janick came up with the music, same as with the other songs...

First song that comes into my mind is Twilight Zone. Adrian incorporated to the song, riffs he had taken from a song he played in Evil Ways. He also contributed to musical passages on Prodigal Son and Murders In The Rue Morgue. Of course, we can delve in what deserves to be credited on songs...

Is really a pleasure mate. Rod even set another rule which is. You don't get credits unless you stay more than a year in the band. Reason why Bruce, Adrian and Janick didn't get credits on their first albums even they did contribute to material in the albums. The whole Wilcock thing ended...

Adrian and Bruce were not paid, they both remained receiving their royalties.

Paul Cairns (Mad Mac) played on The Soundhouse Tapes

This a subject I did studied when writting my first book. The story can be summarised like this. Most of the songs that went into the two albums basically had collaborations by other band members, some of them changed quite a lot, for example, Floating (A.K.A Purgatory) and some not so much...

They have done things with past members privately. This is how the manage certain things. They have reach hands to almost every past member one way of another. It would be kind of amazing to see them publicly recognising things that contradict many of the stories they have told for many...

It was. They gave him a gold disc for the debut album. And yes, as I said in a previous post, it was given to him to sort of recognise his part in the band's history

    Questions About Maiden

Is really a pleasure mate. Where are you from? There are some insanely good musicians in Europe

Complete tracklisting of every Maiden single

It wasn't a fuck up mate, it is what we can call a "Sharon" (re-writting things of the past) move by Maiden. Since the track has Adrian who went into the studio and re-recorded all Stratton parts... they basically wanted to release this

S She wanted them to become a Punk band, so, change their style, cut their hair, dressed differently. Oh and she also suggested they cover Todd Rundgren's 'I Saw The Light'

That Sue is Suzanne Black, who back then was trying to get them a record deal, get the managing position (snatched to Paul Sears) and make Maiden go punk.
