London was 69k tickets sold and probably close to 75k in total, so it wasn't going to be a big step up
My theory is that they wanted a cheap, big open air space where to put the attractions
Liam Gallagher had 85k per night in 2022, setup will probably be the same as Maiden. I don't think Sonisphere was held in the same spot as this year (i mean, same spot but different layouts)
We don't see anything.
If anything, we see the results of a management which decided to organize a special show without spending the proper amount of money.
I told you to shut up after you tried to put your words into my mouth.
Definitely.
I think they were aiming for a total sell out. If they came to this, sales must be around 30/40k, something that really worries them, otherwise they would've just kept spamming the event on social media
Knebworth must be selling even worse than what we thought. Nothing has changed from before, they just name it "EddFest" hoping this will attract people. Also, there are several remarks about this being their last UK show until 2028.
So basically everyone should be worried about Maiden because they haven't posted anything relevant for a couple of months?
Nothing is wrong, nothing is off, everything is okay. We know their plans for this and for next year (which is a first), 99% of the shows are announced and the remaining...
Documentary? 2026.
TFPT Live Recordings? Not happening.
Future plans? they're doing a tour in 2026 and taking a break from the road in 2027.
Maiden is the one band which is always active in a way or another and yet people complain about not having anything to wait just because they don't...
2016 dates were announced in late september for May - 8 months.
2020 dates were announced in mid november for May - 6 months.
2024 dates were announced in mid october for September - 11 months.
So, 2024 aside, every other time in the last decade they announced Oceania dates 6 to 8 months...
They overstimated the demand. The reality shows something different. >I'd like to see the tour as the next big success (as you suggest), but now, unfortunately, nothing shows that.
