On no planet should Tyranny of Souls be that high compared to the other albums on the list. It's a solid Bruce Dickinson effort, but some of the other albums are literally ground breaking.

I love Montsegur, even the goofy-ass chorus. That said, the song has a dichotomy between the brutal opening riff and happy-ass chorus reminds me of a hypothetical scenario where Master of Puppets gets the chorus to Helloween's Future World.

Bruce was sick when he set foot in N America. I was at the Bristow VA show and he had a box of Kleenex on the drum riser to blow his nose in between breaths. Then by the time they got to Central and South America, he got even sicker. Some sort of Ear Nose Throat and Butt sickness.

Something I consistently dislike in Akirant's work is that Eddie's head is disproportionately large. His actual art work and penmanship and coloring are on point. Just the too-big head kills it for me. Like when Dan Akroyd is possessed by Viggo in "Ghostbusters 2: Bustin Makes Me Feel Good."
