They are definitely using click now. You could feel a few moments where the band did not sound used to it in Clairwoyant or Iron Maiden, where Nicko used to speed up in some parts.

Agree. Blaze´s bands always sounded bad on Maiden songs. It is because the over gained sound of the guitars. If they will be doing this set with just one guitar than it would be more of a butchering than a celebration.

The "uninspired" encore block is probably an amazing thing for first time goers and the casuals. I am sure I´ll have a good time even if I don´t have any desire to see these 3 tracks again. I do not think Bruce would be able to sing the song nowadays. The lyrics are extremely fast and tonguetwisting and the middle part has got some incredibly high notes. But yeah, I´d love to see that one again.

I am afraid we are indeed getting it as an opener. It is the most signature Maiden opener. :( Still better than opening with Wildest Dreams. :D

Gimme Icarus, Killers and Infinite Dreams and I won´t care about the rest. I´ve seen Icarus in Prague 2018 and it was unbelievable. Definitely their best hit song ever.

It really just seems that they are aiming the documentary release at the same time as announcing the North American leg of the tour tour, because they strictly do not need that buzz in Europe hence the 1st leg ticket sales. They will try to make it as big as they can in the US is my guess.

No it really is not. Blaze Bayley wasn´t a skilled session musician with knowledge of complex techniques etc.
