Good find and you're absolutely correct in your assertion. Adrians two Lado Earth guitars also had that bridge mounted when he first got them (he also modified them to accept Floyds, as we have just seen).

I don't even think it's in the solo, I have some boots from that tour and if it's there, it's extremely subtle (unlike on the album). Either way, the Lazer is a cool guitar, wouldn't mind having one for myself!:cool:

So this is from 1980-1981, probably 1981. It looks like a PAF in the neck position (the picture is not detailed enough to look directily at the pole pieces, but they seem to reflect light a little bit differently, so I'm going to take a guess here and say that it's a PAF and not a Super...

It's the original one. the wear n tear matches up. AFAIK he only had that ONE guitar (or at least, that one Destroyer II) from the endorsement deal they got with Ibanez after touring Japan in 1981.

Look at the post I was quoting. I know he got several guitars as part of his endorsement deal. What I was asking was whether or not it might be the same as the one Adrian was wearing in the picture posted a bit earlier.

it's not in its original "state" though, it had a CBS headstock originally.

It's marginal. I did it to a R0 Les Paul I owned, hardly made any difference. Didn't matter though, as I removed the covers for cosmetic reasons only, hah!

I'd like to see Dave bring out the Jacksons and ESP again. There's no chance he's ever going to play the original Kossoff Strat live again (why risk it at this point?). For H, I'm kind of ambivalent. I've already seen him play his "Piece of Mind" SG, as well as his Goldtop Deluxe live, as well...

The name of the finish of the one with the Strat headstock is either Daphne Blue or Sonic Blue. In certain lighting conditions, it looks like Seafoam Green as well.

I've never seen another photo of that Lado Strat, it's one of his most elusive guitars (that he's played live at least).

I think the cream one(s?) had a Fender DH-1 Humbucker in the bridge, whilst the Sunburst one had a PAF Pro.
