Announcing more shows would be extremely weird if we consider the sales results, unless they're going to play for an empty stadium. Two nights in São Paulo were too much, especially if we remember they just sold out Allianz Parque twice back in December of 2024.
Probably they've announced the documentary to increase ticket sales, but (as we see) the cinemas are going to be empty. They should put the documentary on platforms first, to promote the band's anniversary and tour. The cinema screenings were not necessary or important for the fans, especially...
The ticket sales are the most important thing for every artists especially if you're touring stadiums around the world with a 50th Anniversary and big promises from managers. We're talking about sales of almost every tour since the reunion, current topic is nothing new. But the problem is on the...
No, but years ago, Maiden was in the other place. People really needed them; the 2026 tour shows an opposite tendency - IM needs people to buy their tickets. There are many cities where sales are under expectations, especially the double dates, which were generally unnecessary and look poor...
Man, as usual, you are taking your figures from nothing, and after some time, you ADMIT the next show/festival is selling poorly. Many shows on this tour are "selling poorly", including the territories where Iron Maiden were "big". How could we tell about 2026 being a success, as 58 shows can...
Eddie Trunk suggests something similar to you and points to Blaze Bayley's addition to the band's nominated members. I'm starting to think Maiden's induction (even via Musical Excellence Award) is possible as never before.
Yeah, you are right, but now we are talking about the current tour results (May - November 2026). The cumulated results will be available not sooner than March 2027 or by the end of 2027 via the Touring Data website.
I have had some free time lately and studied the random data, suggestions, and my own (very critical) calculations. Resuming the sales results (current + some realistically expected), 58 shows booked for this year should do around 1.530.000 result, including the festivals. Some shows will be...
7 artists will be inducted for sure, some chances, as the only heavy music here. I think they might have inducted them with the Music Excellence Award. If they don't wanna induct Maiden, so why did they nominate them for the third time at all?
Oh God, not the film, but screenings in the cinemas - they can do that. They should put this document on platforms, even their YT chanel. It would be a better idea than screening the documentary in cinemas.
And... The fact you can not afford to participate in the show has nothing in common the band's doing fine. Be serious, please. Maybe for some fanboys I'm annoying but I'm talking about facts and the current situation.
Maybe 28 - 30k people at the stadium with 65k concert capacity. If it were just one or a few shows, it wouldn't be a problem, but it's going to be a decline in many places where they usually played for the big crowds. Definitely 2026 tour won't be a big success, not to mention the documentary...
