I love Maiden, but I saw this show multiple times last year. Do I really want to go camp out and stand in a field to probably watch a TV screen of it? On the other hand, who knows how long they will be doing it. Hmm.

As someone just south of London, why do I have the distinct feeling that the UK show is gonna wind up being more awkward for me to get to than just hopping up and on the Eurostar?

I think they're just referring to "Iron Maiden" going at the end of the main set. Hence the jokey "can you guess what it is?". And "fill your boots" is just a very British casual phrase. Like, of course you can guess, it's the same song as it always is!
