I've had this album on constant repeat since Friday and I am really happy with how good it turned out. Favorite tracks are Hell on Earth (Steve's best melodies in ages), Darkest Hour, Senjutsu (love how different this is) and The Parchment (nice mash of To Tame a Land/Powerslave/Book of Souls)...

The artwork makes total sense to me. If you buy a physical product like the CD or vinyl, you get additional artwork as a bonus. If you don't the album cover is cool enough as it is.

I also find it interesting how much better Bruce sounds here than on TWOTW even though he wrote that one. The vocals here just soar, I wonder how many other songs will have these sort of layered vocals? It adds much needed polish to these versions for sure!

This is the best Maiden chorus I've heard in awhile, the reverb and vocal layering really help make it seem bigger. My only slight nick on this track is the solo seems kind of pasted on, but everything else is great.
