That’s exactement that. I took the last train and the venue is quitte far from Paris centre.

Fantastic gig. They came back with even more energy. Great attitude. And Dave rules.

The 2016 tour, after Bruce's cancer, was also incredible.

    The Problem with the X-Factor?

I listened to the album two days ago, from start to finish without skipping a song. What a trip. I've loved this record from day one, and I still do.

    Paul Di'Anno

Each day, thousands of people film themselves having sex and millions go to the Internet to watch them, sometimes paying for that. Having this in mind, I think a Paul Dianno movie is not that strange.

The three weakest IM tracks of the 80s?

And Sun and Steel’s and Flight of Icarus’s riffs are just silly. I remember thinking back in 1983 that this was just not Maiden. Flight has a good vocal melody line, great lyrics, good solos and a fantastic bass line to save it though.

    News Burning Ambition Documentary

I saw it a couple of days ago. Fine moment, but nothing special. I didn't like the scenario the movie was built around: the unstoppable rise to world domination, the sudden fall, and the resurrection. A bit splimplistic. And so little is told about the music itself, it's ridiculous. I enjoyed...

The three weakest IM tracks of the 80s?

Why is Quest gor Fire an obvious choice? Appart from the lyrics, this song is musically way better than Sun and Steel and Flight of Icarus, just to name two from the same album.

    One thing that I don't understand (reunion vs. 1980s & early 90s)

If they were still writing loads of guitar harmonies, some would complain about them being stuck in an old formula. It's great they do different things.

Very convincing. I have never doubted they will record at least another album.

    Judas Priest

Given the name of the band, it not so mysterious, don't you think ? As "Priest", they keep the faith.

    Favourite (non-Maiden) albums by bandmembers

What a strange remark from the singer of a prominent band! They must have their own sound.

We shouldn't read too much in these interviews. Adrian's main concern has recently been to show how creative he is. I don't deny that, but that's his sole purpose. "I write a lot, and even if I'm not the only one credited, I write almost everything in a song". And obviously, he can't say...

Which songwriting team is your favourite?

There is no competition, really. Harris anytime. He is vastly superior to the others in that department. As for a real team, Harris/Murray or Harris/Gers. Smith/Dickinson mostly deliver generic heavy rock.

    Iron Maiden pictures

Damn, I can't be in the center of the picture! What else could I do to show I'm the most interesting person in this band? Maybe behave like a child/monkey/whoever would risk ruining two showers just to have fun.
