Come to think of it I'm actually happy that they did dig deep and did Charlotte the Harlot and Prowler instead of say like Wratchild, Running Free etc.
By the time of Rainbow they had definitely honed their skills! They had toured for most of 1980 and Live at the Rainbow was recorded at the end of the year to sorta celebrate the end of that very first tour.
I just find it interesting to look at how closely they resembled many of the punk rock...
Uh perhaps. I'm not good at structuring such things. The current format for the album cover contest could easily just be used here as well!
