I love Roxette, the swedish pop rock band, but damn did they steal a lot from the American rock band Heart. There's like two or three Roxette songs hidden in this one Heart song from 1985:
20 “Aces High" +3
18 “Fear of the Dark (Live)" +2
8 "The Angel and the Gambler" [alt. picture disc] +1
6 Maiden Japan [alt.]
2 "Wrathchild" [Japan]
0 "Futureal"
Does Dire Straits count as pop rock? Because in that case...
Returning to Michael Jackson though he *really* knew how to align himself with some amazing guitar players. He picked up Slash at the height of his Guns N' Roses fame and worked with him on this song...and Slash really nails that solo!
I thought this was interesting but already in Sounds magazine May 10th 1980 - two months before the gig they already release the artwork for "Sanctuary" featuring Thatcher. In the blurb it says "Iron Maiden concocted the sleeve you see before you to accompany their soon-come live at the Marquee...
It was the only full live album they ever released during the entire 80s. It's legendary. The next full live album Maiden did after Live After Death was A Real Live One.
