No Prayer here...... Almost every album has a weak track or two, but they will have standout tracks to make up for it.  This one, to me, has only one great song and all the rest well.....could be forgotten.  I've bought every album since Killers when they came out, and it would take a few days...

  Personally, I love the crowd singing.  I know the songs..have heard them thousands of times and I think Maiden could not be happier to hear a crowd (especially that Rio show) singing their music back at them.  My wife loves Maiden as well and on the weekends when we go shopping or whatever...

  I remember doing the exact same thing!!  Saw Maiden here in Jacksonville, Fl on the Somewhere on Tour.  Teenager and also left before the encore!!  Too funny.  Wonder where my highschool bud is now, haven't heard from him in years.

Re: 'sanctuary' Now that the dead posts have been risen.....I actually dig this song.  It's not a stand alone type song that I would play, but to really get the crowd moving and the break in song for introductions or rants is awesome.  I would give it 3.5.

:notworthy:  Rock on Bruce!!!  As for Sabbath and Ozzy....to tell the truth I felt that Sabbath was better with Dio.    I know that Sabbath was breaking new ground when they started but really, that crap is overrated. Ozzy's solo career was o.k. I guess, but I really don't care for much more...

Maiden are a bunch of guys, doing what they love and making a great living doing it.  All the DVD's are a gift to me as they don't tour as much in the states.  To see how the world reacts to them outside the U.S. is fantastic.  What I like about the overseas concerts is the cheering, singing and...

Well to my fault we are getting off topic........ lets just agree to disagree.  We all have different opinions on music present and past :ok:  The good thing though is Maiden has ruled for over 25 years and I just hope they can continue for another 25 :notworthy:

While i'm not dismissing all bands of today, I too find it hard to like anything other than one or two songs on an album.  I have found that a lot of todays music is still trying shock people with the name of the band, album art and lyrics about all types of insane crap.  I know that Iron Maiden...
