I'd say start with a comp or live album...
Somewhere Back In Time
From Fear To Eternity
Rock In Rio
If you wanted to start with a studio set
The Number Of The Beast
would be my pick. :)
They probably should have titled this comp No Prayer For The Final Frontier or something like that...
I agree From Fear To Eternity is a little odd given the period the disc covers.
As for the song "From Here To Eternity" not appearing on the album, it's really not a great deal different to...
I ended up purchasing the 2CD version on eBay. Was a little pricey though...So my White Spirit disc arrived in the mail the other day and I can't believe how good it is. It sits alongside any of the earlier Maiden albums quite nicely.
No, it's getting their music out to kids who may never have otherwise heard of them. How popular is Priest in the States now?

Agreed.
I don't even know the kids name, or care really, but he has got people...
I don't have a proble with Gaga. In fact I quite like a few of her songs. I'm certainly not into her stuff enough to attend a live show though.
I used to be totally against bands performing on these shows. But now with MTV and others playing anything but music, I can understand why a group...
At least Gaga writes her own stuff, whether you like her music or not, she does have talent.
Glad she respects and enjoys Maiden, hopefully she'll introduce some of her more adventurous fans to the band as well...
I don't know how I feel about this.
KK is such an important part of the band's legacy.
I'd rather someone from the same era as the rest of the band draughted in as a replacement if they feel the need to carry on, but maybe it'd be better if the pulled up stumps...
I don't see what the problem is with using Bruce's versions of the Blaze era material for this compilation. The same thing happened on the "Somewhere Back In Time" release where the band opted for Bruce's versions of the Di'Anno tracks. This album is a companion to the '80-'89 disc, so they've...
I don't hate Blaze either, afterall his recruitment did allow the band to continue. However the albums he sang on are the weakest in the catalogue in my opinion.
Both of those albums have some decent tracks, but they're definately the albums I listen to the least.
I've never heard Blaze...
