Three reasons I think Joe Lazarus is perfect: - Nails the unique Nicko feel (in my opinion) - Not a big star - no giant ego - Because of his ties to Maiden, he doesn't have the "starstruck" attitude towards the band members

The chance of them opening with aces high just increased by A LOT imo

With Nicko stepping down, I feel we can have some other expectations for the set-list

Nicko could still probably record even if he doesn't tour with them anymore.

I expected this, but this hit so hard. Thanks for everything Nicko, you have deserved your retirement!

I'm mixed, I love Nicko of course, but I feel like at the moment his level is a step down from the other members of the band and I think he deserves to retire.

The band seems really fired up from the crowd response, pretty high tempo on some of the songs

IMO the Ullevi 2005 concert is the peak of Bruce. (And maybe the band as a whole)

And I also feel like the songs lose momentum, or kind off 'stop up' during many of the fills
