A great song. I know it is about a soldier in the Gulf War. However, I personally like to think of it as a kind of wild west theme to it like an outlaw feeling guilty about shooting people. Just my personal twist on it, but if you've ever played Red Dead Redemption, you'll know what I'm talking...
I know. But it could a proposed setlist that they practiced to make sure everything would go okay. We won't know for sure until tonight, but I try to never trust vids and shots like that because they could edit it however they like.
Even though it is a nice setlist, I don't want to look too much into it. It could be a way for them to mess with us, or it could be a Practice Sheet where they are simply thinking of a setlist order and what songs to try out. But even so, I guess we will find out in less then 14 hours from now.
Somebody please send rocket back to school so he can learn how to type? Just reading the stuff he says makes me not want to be here. He's been warned several times and constantly keeps it up.
I'm really starting to believe that they WILL play Die With Your Boots On this set. After all, it is 2012 and it is a big "The End is Near" type of thing (even though it's a bunch of garbage). However, with that in mind, I feel like this would be a perfect opportunity to play Die With Your Boots...
As much as I'd like to hear those played, I highly doubt that they will play anything post Fear of the Dark this time around. Maybe next tour when they play more modern stuff.
Tracks I'm hoping for:
Bring Your Daughter... to the Slaughter
Caught Somewhere In Time
Wasted Years
Still Life
Stranger in a Strange Land
Flight of Icarus
It would be awesome if they play CSIT! However I think if they ever do play it, it will be during the encore because Moonchild is the most likely opener for this set.
That would be lovely. hahaha
But if they are doing the Maiden Heaven tour... does this mean the next History Tour will be the Real Live tour? It would be cool to see them play some 90s stuff along with stuff like Where Eagles Dare, Prowler, Sanctuary, and hopefully... Caught Somewhere in Time...
They have played Bring Your Daughter... to the Slaughter more often than Holy Smoke or Be Quick or Be Dead. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed because it's one of my faves.
My new prediction:
1. Moonchild
2. The Evil That Men Do
3. Bring Your Daughter... to the Slaughter
4. Infinite Dreams
5. The Trooper
6. Wasted Years
7. Can I Play With Madness
8. The Number of the Beast
9. Afraid to Shoot Strangers
10. The Prisoner
11. Seventh Son of a Seventh Son
12. Fear of...
Another thing about this new "leaked" setlist... Fear of the dark is always played before Iron Maiden. It also only has 15 songs and pretty much all of them were played on the original Seventh Son tour when Maiden has said they will only play 2/3rds. So I'm pretty sure this set isn't true.
