    Janick's role in post-reunion Maiden

But anyway Steve is the "boss" or leader of the band. He makes the main decisions regarding the band.

    Janick's role in post-reunion Maiden

Who decided that he should stay in the band? Bruce or Steve?

    Janick's role in post-reunion Maiden

Maybe a controversial statement here, but I think Janick is a redundant member of Iron Maiden. Maiden just don't need 3 guitarists and as a player he is simply not as good as Adrian and/or Dave.

Poll: The weakest 80's Maiden album?

I absolutely agree about Gangland and QFF. How about Heaven can wait? It's generally regarded as the least favorite from SIT by fans.

Poll: The strongest 90s Maiden album

Man on the edge two tiers above Fear of the dark? That's controversial as hell.

Poll: The strongest 90s Maiden album

OK, I won't deny that FOTD has a significant amount of filler but I still fail to see how The X Factor is better. The best X Factor track (Sign of the cross) just cannot touch the mighty title track FOTD and Afraid to shoot strangers is much better than all the other tracks on The X Factor. On...

Poll: The strongest 90s Maiden album

I can't believe that X-Factor is leading here with 15 votes more than FOTD. I think FOTD is generally regarded as the better Maiden album and The X Factor is regarded as the bottom of the Maiden discography along with Virtual XI and No Prayer. It's really surprising for me that many people on...

Brave New World Vs. Piece Of Mind

POM, no brainer. And I love BNW.

    SSOASS Vs. AMOLAD

7th Son by a wide margin

    Favourite Iron Maiden Epic (1980-1992)

Powerslave closely followed by Hallowed be thy name.
  14. WildRanger

Which is your preferred Maiden era: 1980-1993 vs. 1995-present

No contest for me. 1980-93 by far (but based on the material up to 7th Son specifically, NPFD was a huge letdown after SSoaSS and FOTD was not much better).

    That's the only exception.

Was the album "Brave New World" like "Seventh Son of a Seventh Son" part II?

On BNW you have "Blood Brothers", it's so soft and melodic that I wouldn't call it a heavy metal song at all (I love this song btw). Also the title track is quite un-heavy for metal standards (and it's great btw).

rate all 17 Maiden albums best to worst

To be honest, the last 3 Iron Maiden albums are the epitome of "Maiden by numbers" for me. TFF and Senjutsu are generally meh and TBOS is easily better but it's still "Maiden by numbers".

Maybe because it's mostly uninspired borefest?

What are the most overrrated albums in rock history?

I forgot: Back in Black by AC/DC Physical Graffiti by Led Zeppelin (LZ is among my favorite bands but I'd rank PG as #5 LZ album, it's not super consistent)
