Wolfsbane were a great band, and they definitely had potential, but they would have never made it big. Noone cares for their Hard Rock/Metal style today anymore. Back in the late 80's and early 90's they were the hottest thing, but shortly afterwards the whole "Hard Rock" scene got "destroyed"...

as far as I know, Maiden had a few problems with the cover image. They've been "warned" that it's too explicit. That's why they made the two sided cover, so they could still sell it in shops without the fear of being indexed. Maybe Amazon fucked up there
