I agree. Some of the comments after the RFYL set were ridiculous. A set that includes Phantom, 7th Son, Powerslave, Rime and a few early cuts that haven't been played for years. What more do people want?
I don't think Maiden have ever got the fact that really unless it's legacy metal band like Priest etc fans are only interested in Maiden. Im not saying these bands are no good. But every Maiden gig I've been too theres only I think 2 or 3 support bands the crowd have been arsed about. That was...
Tbh I thought they might struggle with this. A big outdoor show in the UK last year, the location, costs to fans, the lineup it just doesn't seem as appealing.
Mixed emotions about Knebworth. Seen them at Soni in 2014 but it's just too difficult and expensive for me to get the Knebworth these days. Especially with hotels etc. On the other hand if they are taking 2027 off the earliest next UK gig will be 2028 which will be then 3yrs without a Maiden gig...

The two Newcastle 84, Ipswich, Glasgow, Barcelona, Birmingham night 1, Heidleberg and Stockholm ive rated as the better audience boots. But as stated above make sure you get the DMM versions that exist of the UK shows
There some good ones. I think Paris is soundboard but not full gig. From memory Quebec is really good. There are plenty of good ones ill just have to look at my spreadsheet to let you know lol
I remember Bruce and Nicko saying its a "brilliant game" back in the day.
Yeah theres little or no effort in the fanclub these days. Its not worth joining
