UDO - I'll Die Trying
Udo with a new single. A ballad(!), his typical style, it sounds very 80s. Effective enough, warmful playing.
It seems he used Helloween's recent albums artist for the cover. It works (especially colors), although the idea isn't that interesting, the setting could have been more. But it fits his vibe.

Dokken - "Sunless Days" off Long Way Home.
Only real Dokken album featuring John Norum on guitar before he was called back home to reform Europe. His early 2000's deep dive into droptunings is in full effect here as well and it sounds surprisingly similar to the Europe albums that followed.
Not sure if Don's Beatles-esque melodies or Joey Tempest's hit factory hooks suits them better.
Listening to the 2026 Europe singles he seems to have found his way back to this style again.
