Not even sorry. My reaction to most of the songs that I've heard for the first time in this thread ranges from "huh, that's awesome", to "not my thing, but I see why others like it", to "eh, this was pretty boring". The Weedmen was probably the first song I actively disliked. Funeral Doom is already a hard sell for me, because it emphasizes a lot of the things I dislike in metal.

Earthshine had no reason to be 10 minutes long. It felt like the same one or two riffs stretched out for no reason. But at least those couple of main riffs were good enough. The Weedmen had a lot more variety (a good thing) but none of the sections were any good, imo. At points it just felt like a jam session and I was bored out of my mind.

I'll never get those 15 minutes back, so I'll echo: You fucker

I like Running Wild, but Under Jolly Roger never really did much for me.

Their best song, by far imo, is The Ballad Of William Kidd.

This is a better opinion.

unlike Hall Of The Mountain King, for example. That one always annoyed me.

Now that I saw an early Savatage song nominated I kinda regret that my nomination only featured Jon Oliva on the vocals. Should've chosen a song with Zach. They had a really interesting dynamic in the 90s.
