NOW PLAYING

Pressed against the wall and grabbed by a... pair, I'd choose this style of Judas Priest. Maybe it's more commercial and "arena"-oriented, but it's uplifting and fist-pumping, whereas the never-ending Painkiller era gets a bit grumpy after a while.

Renewal was the first Kreator album I ever heard, back in the '90s. Nowadays, I understand that it was a big departure... but I liked it then, and I still do to this day. It's all about perspective, really. So, I jumped on them during their Black Album - Load/Reload years? Sad and shocking. Not really, because I didn't know their legacy at all.

Bold (but not bald) statement: My favourite Kreator album is Endorama. The first I heard was Endless Pain though. A classmate lend the tape with loads of other heavier stuff to listen to (Morbid Angel, Sepultura, Death, Obituary)
