Would you say there a noticeable dip in Blaze's confidence between the X Factour and the Virtual XI tour?

I think Nicko just rushed through the gigs on the Virtual XI tour. It's well known he wasn't happy with Blaze's singing by then.
 
The "fans" didn't accept him and showed their hate at the live shows, throwing objects at him and shouting insults.

That shakes anyone's confidence.

This, combined with his inability to sing Bruce's songs (due to the band's fault), culminated in the situation he went through at the time.

I dont think that happened. The famous chile show and thats all. I remember another in barrowlands that he forget the lyrics of fortunes of war and pepole started to whistle but just a few show.
Anyway here is the last show

There was some wonderful shows with blaze though. The greek fans seemed to really accept him. They were going wild for Maiden in 1998. Watch the clansman clip from greece 1998

The shows i attended nothing happened like that,we enjoyed to see maiden but for sure many people iin sone parts of the show (like me) were thinking this is not the iron maiden that i used to listen when he sung the classics. But as i said before he couldnt sing bruce songs he is a totaly different singer,different voice,different stage presence. But on his albums he was ok.
