To be fair, that’s a lack of basic due diligence on the part of the interviewer if they don’t even familiarize themselves with the current lineup of the band, and they would deserve to be called out for it. BNW was Janick’s fifth full studio album with the band, so there’s really no excuse to be ignorant of his role…

Im not sure he was being ignorant i think it was just a genuine mistake

I cant remember what happened for sure but i think he called Janick, Dave Murray. Was during BNW tour and i think was an interview in the north of europe but im not sure. For sure it was not usa or south america

I had HUGE expectations of Maiden going back to its Golden days and was really disappointed when I heard the Album. Took me some years to accept the fact that Maiden had 3 stages. The Golden Years until Seventh Son included... the WTF is this crap years with No Prayer and a very weak Fear of the Dark album that continues with the Blaze era and the their resurgence on a new style that they still maintain today: The tamed and super long songs that they seem to keep adding.
