I couldn't find the whole interview, but this quote from Bruce is cool and very true:
''Other bands make records, whereas we create world.''

It's not about that...
It's abot the fact that @GhostofCain brought up... In the movie Helmuth Von Moltke is speaking about the lyrical depth of Iron Maiden and he is immediately followed by (or preceeded by) Prowler.
I just found that hillarious.

I am just looking forward to the day when @Helmuth Von Moltke finally releases a paper on the historical depth of Prowler’s lyrics. Hopefully it is available to download on JSTOR!Not immediately preceded by, but having someone as esteemed as @Helmuth Von Moltke talking about the weighty nature of Iron Maiden lyrics when previously in the film they had a long segment with the band playing Prowler live was unintentionally funny.![]()
Hi there. There is any subforum to sell/buy/trade?
I don't know what the hell everybody is going on about?! Are you all perverts? The lyrics are obviously about the void of human isolation. The city is full of life ("ladies flashing"), but the narrator is completely disconnected, crawling in the shadows. "It" represents the massive, empty void of extreme loneliness and alienation - IT is open wide. The narrator opens this void wide to the world, desperately asking, "What you seeing, girl?" as a plea to be acknowledged as a human being. "Feeling myself" is a desperate, physical attempt to confirm their own existence because they feel like an invisible ghost ("nothing's with me").I am just looking forward to the day when @Helmuth Von Moltke finally releases a paper on the historical depth of Prowler’s lyrics. Hopefully it is available to download on JSTOR!
Not currently on the official booking page.Apparently, there’s now a 4-for-3 ticket offer for Knebworth
Just checked and it's thereNot currently on the official booking page.
Interesting, I can't see it anywhere while attempting to buy 3 ticketsJust checked and it's there
It's the family ticket.Interesting, I can't see it anywhere while attempting to buy 3 tickets
Haha, thank you. My childless mind blanks out anything for families, clearly. It's the family ticket.
Price - yeah 200 quid for the 2 nights camping is steep considering that's not far off a full 3 day festival price. But then considering the price of arena gigs these days it seems commensurate to that. Hard to see how they could do the thing for less than that, shits just too dear these days.I hate to be negative about this, but it is their own fault it is selling poorly.
This is the closest Maiden has ever performed to where I live, and I can’t justify it.
- It is advertised as the same show that many people saw last year. Not many fans will want to see the same show again, especially casual fans.
- If they are changing the setlist, they should have mentioned this in the initial press release. If they are hoping on a last minute surge then good luck to them.
- Transport options for coming back afterwards are poor.
- It’s too expensive.
I think the bigger problem was, will be, and will be forever enshrined as it's a festival of sorts with no real killer support acts. It's like they had most of the blueprint down but when it came time to execute, management balked at the idea of getting multiple festival grade acts to support.I hate to be negative about this, but it is their own fault it is selling poorly.

I get this but then I assume it would have cost £300 instead of £200. Download is £365 for 5 nights camping and 90+ bands.I think the bigger problem was, will be, and will be forever enshrined as it's a festival of sorts with no real killer support acts. I said it before, but a once in a lifetime can't miss it setlist announcement would've enticed the hardcore and a cadre of established names as support would've sealed the deal for casuals. Instead we're at 0 for 2.
