Terminal news for Ginger Wildheart. The Wildhearts were possibly the very first band that I found on my own, around '93 or' 94 and they were the very first gig I went to, 1995, two or 3 months before my second gig which was Iron Maiden. I'll always have a soft spot for these crazy fuckers.

Tomorrow karaoke night! This time I´m going to try Skyfall (Adèle) , Papillon (Editors) and 2 Out Of 3 Ain´t Bad (Meat Loaf) I practiced them this week and so far it goes quite good. I hope Meat Loaf is watching from heaven for mental support.
3 very different songs in style and vocal approach where the one from Editors leans the most to my normal baritone voice. Usually I try to stay as close as possible to the original song and that worked the last time with Simple Minds and Depeche Mode. It’s fun for sure!

I was at karaoke recently, private wee room for a 40th birthday, only 3 of us actually sang. Most were ernest as fuck and boring as fuck. Personally I choose to wreck the decks, a lot of power stances, call and response, waaaay more fun than takin it serious. I remember doin Radar Love, Born To Be Wild, You Could Be Mine. First time doin You Could Be Mine in public, goes down a treeeeeat, definitely more fun than people mumbling slow songs into the mic
